IGNOU MBA BANKING AND FINANCE ADMISSION JULY 2019, IGNOU MBA (B&F) ADMISSION FORM 2019
Few days back, the distance university has uploaded the admission notice to MBA (Banking & Finance) for July 2019 cycle. Students can take admission in this discipline twice in a year which is January and July cycle. This discipline comes under School of Management Studies (SOMS). It is the distance learning MBA program which is especially created for Bankers and other executives which wants to pursue and make career in the banking/ finance sector. The university offered MBA (Banking & Finance) in distance learning mode only.
This programme is offered through countrywide network of Study Centres of IGNOU. It is Developed collaboratively by School of Management Studies (SOMS) IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai. The main objective of creating programme is to target the professionals which is from the banking sector. The target group is to create well trained and efficient mba banking and finance managers.
Students who wants to take admission in mba banking and finance field, need to check or download IGNOU MBA (B&F) admission notification July 2019 by going through the university official website. The Student Handbook & Prospectus would be available at all the Regional Centres and at the Head Quarters of IGNOU, New Delhi.
LAST DATES: The last date to apply for admission in IGNOU MBA programme has been mentioned below :
The candidates who had qualified OPENMAT-XLIV or who will qualify OPENMAT XLV should apply for admission before 31st May 2019 (July 2019). The candidates who will qualify OPENMAT XLV can apply for Jan 2020 session till 30th November 2019.
IGNOU MBA BANKING AND FINANCE PROGRAM DURATION : To complete MBA banking and finance degree, the minimum course duration is 2.5 Years and maximum duration is 8 years. This discipline follows semester system (6 month duration) just like other MBA programs.
IGNOU MBA BANKING AND FINANCE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : To be eligible for ignou mba (b&f) discipline, the candidate must have :
(a) a bachelor degree of not less than 3 years duration from a recognized University/Institution
(b) have passed the CAIIB examinations of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, Mumbai and awarded the requisite qualification/credentials thereof by the Institute
(c) have been working in the Banking or Financial Services Sector for a period of at least 2 years.
IGNOU MBA BANKING AND FINANCE FEE STRUCTURE: The total fee of mba banking and finance course is Rs 31,500. It means the programme fee per course is Rs 1500/-. The programme fee can be paid through a Bank Draft (DD) which is obtained from any one of the scheduled banks in favour of IGNOU and should be payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated (both at the time of Admission and Re-registration / Re-admission). Be noted that examination fee is not included in the course fee. Please write Your Name, Enrollment Number and Address on the back side of the Bank Draft to ensure proper credit to your fee account.
Another option to pay course fee is through bank challan (both at the time of admission and Re-registration/ Re-admission) at the designated Indian Bank and IDBI Bank. Two copies of the bank challan will be returned to you by the bank out of which copy marked as ‘University’s copy’ should be submitted to the Regional Centre along with Admission/Re-registration form. The course fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
IGNOU MBA BANKING AND FINANCE APPLICATION FORM : The application forms are available inside the Student Handbook / Prospectus which can be either obtained online (Student Zone > Downloads > Prospectus MBA Banking & Finance ) by going through the university official website or personally from IGNOU Regional Centers / Study Centers or Head Quarters.
IGNOU MBA Banking and Finance Prospectus July 2019 can be obtained from the Director, Student Service Centre (SSC), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 by doing cash payment of Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) or by sending a DD – Demand Draft of Rs 1050/- (Rupees one thousand fifty only) which should be drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ payable at the city from where the Prospectus is requested. The application form must be filled with the requisite fee and necessary document and to be sent to the regional director for admission.
The distance university delivers IGNOU MBA (B&F) Study Material to the students via postal service, internet or other mode of communication. These materials are edited by the content experts and language experts at IGNOU before they are finally sent to the press. Similarly audio and video programmes are produced in consultation with the course writers, in-house faculty and producers. These materials are previewed and reviewed by the faculty as well as outside experts and edited or modified wherever necessary before they are dispatched to the Study Centres and Doordarshan.
