IGNOU Grade Card December 2024?
Welcome to IGNOU Grade Card section.
Ignou Term End Results is also known as Ignou Grade Card. Enrolled students can check their result status in the form of compiled Ignou grade card. IGNOU Grade Card consists of : IGNOU Assignments marks, Term-End Examination Marks, Practical Exam Marks and Grade of Project Work.
Eligible students can check their result Grade Card for the offered programmes such as BDP- BA, B.Com, B.Sc., BCA, MCA, M.Com, BSW, MSW, BBARL, MTM, BTS, MBA, B.Ed, M.Ed, MA, M.Sc, BAG, BCOMG, BSCG etc
The distance university conducted term-end exams twice in a year i.e June & December month. After conducting exams, the university declared result after 45 days which is in the February month for June term-end exams and is in February month for December Term-end Exams for the respective year.
What is Grade Card in Ignou?
The result grade card is updated at regular interval after submission of assignment, regular and revaluation result, term-end practical etc.
It mention’s the student’s performance in the TEE & status assignment. Ignou Grade Card December 2024 consists of :
- Candidate’s name
- Candidate’s enrollment number
- Name of the program
- Course code
- Assignment marks acquired
- Assignment marks required
- Term End theory marks
- Term End practical marks
- Status of the assignments
The university offered result grade card to all students either they appear semester or yearly exams. For few programmes, grade card are displayed in form of A, B, C, D, E and few are in the form of numeric.
IGNOU Result Grade Card December 2024
The university display grade card status either ‘Completed’ or ‘Not completed’. Ignou Grade Card status ‘Completed’ means that students have passed successfully in Term-End exam, Assignment and project work if required for course.
IGNOU Grade Card status ‘Not-Completed’ means that students are failed either in term-end exam, assignment or project work. As per rule, the distance university send hard copy of grade card status to students registered residence address. If any students don’t receive grade card status at their registered address or wants to verify, then it have option to verify their Grade Card online by visiting ignou.ac.in.
To get degree of any course, the student has to obtain the minimum of 40% marks in both Term End Theory examination as well as in Tutor Marked Assignments.

Enrolled students can check or download Grade card status for their respected disciplines by Selecting program, Enter Enrollment Number and click at button Submit. Take Print out of your IGNOU Grade Card for future purpose.
IGNOU Grade Card Not Received
The distance university sends the hard copy of grade card at student address. If it’s not received to students, he need to contact IGNOU Maidan Garhi, Delhi. The Un-delivered Grade Card/Provisional Certificate is sent back to Maidan Garhi, Delhi. It can be found at Student Evaluation Division, Maidan Garhi.
